Close Call
My husband Richard was sent out-of-town by his company for a promotional training. Usually, Richard is the one who takes our daughter, Sophie to school every morning on his way to work. Since he was not around, I naturally took over. It wasn’t really much of a hassle since I also have my own car.
Yesterday, while Sophie was still changing into her school uniform, I went ahead to the garage to get the Forrester out. When I had the vehicle out and was closing the door, I heard a chugging sound and then a loud pop! To my horror, I saw the right side of the door drop and hit the floor. A cable must have snapped. Had this happened while I was moving the car out, I could have been in an accident.
I was just thankful I was able to get the car out before all this happened
At least I could take Sophie to school as the car was not trapped inside the garage. We were really lucky that day, and that very after noon the door was repaired by this local company.
